“Innovative Tools to NGO-Business Partnerships”

19 NGOs and 42 businesses were convened to engage in the dialogue on two topics. The first topic was on “Integrated Cause Communication  (ICC) Strategy: Responsive to Social Impact” Four panelists from Assistant Professor Dr. Kittinee Nuttawuttisit- Academia, Sasamon-Bangchak, Business, Manit-Child Right Prevention NGO and Anuj Sirikit, Media Professional shared their insights and experiences in using ICC in responding social impact. ICC can be innovative tools for business to express their corporate social responsibility by leveraging existing marketing and promotional budget while responding to social impact. NGO must explore and identify possibility to engage business to help address their cause to help NGOs on campaigning and promote preventive education to the society.   On the 2nd topic “Employee Volunteer: Ways of CSR and Happiness”, the speakers were: Mr.Heize Landau and Ms.Suwanna Somjaiwong from Merck (Thailand), Mr.Sudwin Panyawongkanti, PwC, and Mrs. Kasamon Kittiampon, Somboon Group. Their many years of practical experiences on developing EV programs of each company are much inspiring and have given courage and easy steps to the participants to adopt it within their companies. In conclusion, EV program is a powerful mechanism for companies and NGOs to get employees to improve their work-life happiness, potentiality, to represent their company as an ambassador to develop good relationships with their community members, and to become good citizen to the society. Imagine if every company adopts this program, we are going to see this whole world a better place to live in.  The full proceeding of this seminar will be finalized soon.
