Thailand-7 Nov 07 – 2007 CSR Framework for Sustainable Corporation

The Thai CSR Framework has been developed from a research by comparing several guidelines such as Balridge Performance, ISO 26000 another local standard. This will not be another difficult index for companies, However, it shows that CSR was not an added-on activities, but an integrated functions of all business units. Companies ought to show their whole responsibilities to all stakeholders starting from employee, customers, shareholders, suppliers, community. To practice CSR under this framework, the companies will not receive only a license to operate for the companies, but it will create ways and means for companies to improve their productivities, to gain trust and understand community and to move the companies towards sustainability.
